For many children Christian based summer camps are where they experience Spiritual Growth, learn how to engage with God, have lots of fun, and find Jesus!
Not only do kids get a spiritual connection at camp but many long-term friendships begin at camp. Church camp has a life long impact!
According to 2019 statistics where 400 people were surveyed:
2/3 of Christians come to faith before age 18
Conversion > age 21 is rare, only 1/4 of believers
43% came to Christ < age 12
29% listed Children’s Ministry as a factor
The cost for our church camps range from $100-$400 per person. Many families cannot afford this for one child, yet alone multiples.
Each year (the last Sunday in April) we have a Pork-steak Barbecue & Bake Auction where the money made goes towards paying for kids to go to camp! Thanks to generous donations & support for the last several years we have made enough to give each child a full scholarship to camp!
